Will Ashby ever come to Java?

Yes, but it might take a while. There are tools for converting worlds from Bedrock to Java out there, so it is possible. It's a little tedious, though, so we probably won't be converting it until Ashby is done or mostly done.

What shaders do you use?

The pictures on this website were all captured by byfr using EntropyShader for Bedrock Edition 3Gen but were edited to achieve their final look.

How often will the world file be updated?

Usually, there will be a new download after a sizeable addition has been made to the city. It's not always consistent, but if we haven't updated in a while at any given time, just know we're still working on Ashby. We won't give up!

Work on Ashby began in November 2019.

Why do you build on Bedrock Edtion? Why not Java Edition?

The simplest answer is usually the best one: We just didn't own Java Edition when we first started!
